As per West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education official notice, the WB HS board exams (Semester 4) will take place in the 10 am to 1:15 pm slot.
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the complete schedule for the WB Class 12 Uccha Madhyamik 2026 Semester 3 Supplementary Exams. WB Higher Secondary (HS) exams covering Semester 4, Semester 3 supplementary and old annual-system will be conducted from February 12 to February 27, 2026.
WBCHSE HS Time Table 2026 for Sem 3 Supplementary Exams
As per the official notice, the Class 12 board exams (Semester 4) will take place in the 10 am to 1:15 pm slot. Students who are still under the discontinued annual curriculum will appear in the same morning session. Semester 3 supplementary papers will be held separately in shorter afternoon slots.

WB HS 2026 Admit Card Instructions
Heads of institutions will be able to download admit cards for Semester 4 and Semester 3 supplementary exams online. Students following the old syllabus will receive printed admit cards from January 28, 2026.
WBCHSE HS Exams 2026: Exam day Guidelines for Students
The board has stressed the following points for the February exams:
- Carry only admit card, registration details, and essential stationery in transparent pouches.
- No borrowing of items will be allowed inside the examination hall.
- Electronic devices, papers, notes, and bags remain strictly barred.
- Non-programmable calculators may be used only by eligible students under the previous curriculum.
- Any violation or attempt at unfair practice may lead to paper cancellation or further action.
Supplementary Exam Timing
Semester 3 supplementary papers will run in the afternoon, with durations varying from 1 pm to 2:15 pm or 1 pm to 1:45 pm, depending on the subject.
You only need to carry the required stationary, and hall ticket to the examination hall.
Students are not allowed to carry following items to WBBSE Examination hall:
- Instruments
- Handbag
- Purse
- Any kind of Paper/ Textual material (printed or written material)
- Eatables (loose or packed)
- Mobile Phone / Earphone/ Microphone
- Calculator
- Camera
- Tape Recorder
- Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator
- Any metallic item or electronic gadgets / devices
The duration of the WB 12th exams 2026 is 3 hours. The timings of the examination are between 9:45 am and 1 pm. Students must reach the exam centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the exam. They must also remember to carry their WB HS hall ticket on all exam days.

Yes, going to washroom during the class 10 board exams in India is allowed. When appearing for the any class 10 board exams, you must feel relaxed, confident and comfortable. So yes, students are allowed to use washroom even during the class 10 board exams. However, an invigilator can take you to the washroom because many students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exam.
