IIM Lucknow launches 10-month Chief Executive Officer Programme

This 10-month programme launched with and Emeritus launch is designed to facilitate high-level leadership development and to equip top leaders with tools, strategies, and insights to excel in their roles and drive business growth

With the increasing geopolitical tensions, trade conflicts, and competition from non-traditional competitors, there is a need to upskill CEOs to build and create a strong future growth strategy. Catering to this industry need, the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) along with Emeritus has started Chief Executive Officer Programme.

The 10-month programme is curated for CEOs as well as aspiring CEOs. It is designed for experienced and proven leaders with a minimum of 10 years of work experience, looking to hone their abilities further to propel their careers to the next level to become a CEO so they can meet customer expectations concerning societal engagement, enable brand values and trust as drivers of growth, have strong purposeful leadership for effective change management, developing an innovation culture that drives digital transformation and transform business models for strategic growth.

The eligibility for this programme includes Graduates (10+2+3)/ Diploma holders (10+2 +3)/Postgraduates with a minimum of 10 years of work experience. This programme is set to begin on December 30, 2023, with a fee of INR 5,60,000 plus GST.

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion and will be eligible to receive IIM Lucknow’s Executive Alumni Status

It is also designed for leaders with a minimum of 10 years of work experience, who are new to the CEO role, or have recently founded a company and want to be a leader who is cognizant of the dynamic business environment, agile to navigate uncertainty, capable to lead change and transformation, strategic in decision making, a driver of organisational performance, be an expert in functional understanding and critical thinking.

According to the EY India CEO Survey 2022, 49% of CEOs are planning to use technology and automation to improve scalability and replace higher-cost labor roles, as well as digital platforms to increase customer interactions. With India’s growing economy, this poses one of the key opportunities for companies to leverage economic growth and build a sustainable and long-term growth strategy. Extending their expertise and equipping the C-Suite leaders, IIM Lucknow has launched the Chief Executive Officer Programme. This programme equips CEOs to lead by fostering an innovative organisational culture. It trains future CEOs to excel in strategic thinking, enhance leadership skills, and build robust and adaptable capabilities to navigate the challenges of the digital transformation era, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.

This hands-on programme for creating future-ready CEOs offers immersive live online learning by IIM Lucknow faculty and industry experts and an in-campus immersion at the IIM Lucknow campus. It also includes a capstone project guided by IIM Lucknow Faculty, business simulations such as Capstone simulation and Strategy Simulation on Balance Scorecard and an opportunity for peer-to-peer learning. The module has been carefully designed to help leaders develop practical, industry-aligned skills that will help them inspire teams towards innovation and sustainability.
