Anna University is embarking on a digital journey as it lays an online foundation to manage the institution’s administrative tasks. The digital push at one of India’s premier technical education institutions is aimed at improving internal processes, and providing comprehensive services to students, research scholars, faculty and staff members.

With an aim to increase efficiency in administrative processes and to effectively solve students' grievances, Anna University has adopted a digital path. The varsity has launched a portal that apart from digitising academic-related tasks, also automates the university’s procurement and accounting processes.

"Anna University is embarking on a digital journey as it lays an online foundation to manage the institution’s administrative tasks. The digital push at one of India’s premier technical education institutions is aimed at improving internal processes, and providing comprehensive services to students, research scholars, faculty and staff members," the varsity said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Anna University has once again revised the schedule for the theory exams that were postponed in view of cyclone Mandous.   As per a circular issued by Anna University’s Controller of Examinations, all theory exams for UG and PG programmes that were postponed from December 9, which was initially rescheduled for December 24, will now be conducted on January 19, 2023. Similarly, the December 10 exam that was earlier rescheduled for December 31, will not be conducted on January 20, 2023.
