DU asks colleges to keep classrooms and labs open 8 PM for optimum use of resources

Delhi University has urged all its colleges and departments to keep their classrooms and laboratories open from 8 am to 8 pm on working days to ensure the efficient use of resources. The notification has been posted in this regard on the university's website. "Additionally, the colleges and departments have been instructed to submit a report on the actions taken by May 31," according to an official statement.

On January 14, the University Grants Commission (UGC) released the guideline that was aimed at central universities and other higher educational institutions. It is in line with this guideline that the Delhi University has now directed its colleges and departments to keep their classrooms and laboratories open from 8 am to 8 pm on all working days.
Meanwhile, Delhi University is now inviting applications for the second edition of the Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme 2023.  To facilitate short-term exposure and experience of students with the different Department/Centre/Institutes of the University of Delhi, the Central Placement Cell (CPC), under the office of the Dean of Students' Welfare, the University of Delhi offers the Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS), the University of Delhi' at the UG and PG levels. Candidates must note that the last date to apply is on or before May 17, 2023.
