IGNOU 1-Year Master’s Admission

IGNOU 1-Year Master’s Programme: Indira Gandhi National Open University has started accepting applications for one-year master’s degree programmes. Only those who have completed a four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP) can apply for IGNOU 1-Year Master’s programme. 

Last date for submitting IGNOU 1-Year Master’s programme applications is August 16. They are advised to keep their APAAR ID ready before starting application process. The programmes offer flexible, learner-centric, and multidisciplinary pathways in higher education.

This initiative offers an accelerated postgraduate route in select disciplines and is aligned with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework. Those interested in IGNOU one-year master’s programmes should check programme-specific eligibility criteria, admission process, fee details and availability before submitting an application. 

The university advised students to log in to their accounts on the Online Admission Portal regularly to check the status of their applications. If any discrepancy is found in an application, they will be notified through Admission Portal.
