IIIT Delhi Convocation 2026: Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi will hold its 15th convocation on November 3, 2026, with 830 students set to receive degrees across undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. IIIT Delhi will also recognise academic achievements of 22 students through merit awards.

In IIIT Delhi convocation 2026 degrees will be awarded across various disciplines, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Biology, Mathematics, Design and Social Sciences.

IIIT Delhi Convocation 2026: Programmes and Degrees

The graduating students represent several specialisations across institute's academic programmes.

• Under Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme, degrees will be awarded in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Design, Computer Science and Social Sciences, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Biosciences, and Electronics and VLSI Engineering.

• Students completing Master of Technology (M.Tech) programmes will receive degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Computational Biology.

• Doctoral degrees will be conferred in disciplines such as Computational Biology, Human-Centred Design, Mathematics, Electronics and Communications Engineering, and Social Sciences and Humanities.

IIIT Delhi Convocation 2026 Chief Guest and Dignitaries

IIIT Delhi convocation will be attended by Delhi Lieutenant Governor and IIIT Delhi Chancellor Taranjit Singh Sandhu. Rajiv Kumar, Managing Director and President of the Microsoft India Development Center (IDC) and Corporate Vice President of the OPG India Group, will attend event as chief guest.

The institute's Director, Professor Sandeep Sen, Chairperson of the Board of Governors Professor Rajesh Srivastava, faculty members, staff and the families of graduating students will also be present at the ceremony.

IIIT Delhi to Honour Academic Excellence

Along with conferring degrees on 830 students, IIIT Delhi will recognise outstanding academic performance and research contributions through several awards and honours. These include the Chancellor's Gold Medal, Institute Silver Medals, awards for all-round excellence, the Best Bachelor's Thesis Project award, the Gold Medal for outstanding achievement in M.Tech, thesis awards and PhD dissertation prizes.
