IIT Hyderabad, Jindal Steel Set Up Centre of Excellence; Students to Get Internships and Placement Opportunities

IIT Hyderabad and Jindal Steel have launched a Centre of Excellence to develop advanced steel technologies, along with offering students internships and placement opportunities. 

IIT Hyderabad Updates

IIT Hyderabad and Jindal Steel have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish Jindal Steel Centre of Excellence (CoE) at institute's campus. This new centre will focus on developing advanced high-strength steel products and industry-ready engineering solutions while creating internship and placement opportunities for students.

Under this partnership, Jindal Steel will invest in building the physical Centre of Excellence at IIT Hyderabad. This facility will serve as a hub for research, application development, technical demonstrations, training, industry collaboration and knowledge sharing. CoE will combine IIT Hyderabad's engineering expertise with Jindal Steel's experience in metallurgy and manufacturing to develop innovative steel solutions.
