IIT Hyderabad Launches Applied AI Professional Certification Programme; Check Course Details

IIT Hyderabad has launched four-week Applied AI Professional Certification Programme focusing on building, evaluating and deploying AI applications for real-world use.

IIT Hyderabad Certification Programme: Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad has introduced Applied AI Professional Certification Programme for those looking to build practical skills in developing and deploying artificial intelligence (AI) applications. This September 2026 cohort will begin on September 19, 2026, and continue until October 17, 2026. IIT Hyderabad Applied AI programme will be offered in a hybrid mode. Also, instructor-led classes will be conducted every Saturday. Participants can attend sessions either on IIT Hyderabad campus or online.

IIT Hyderabad Applied AI Programme: What Will Students Learn?

The programme focuses on practical development of AI agent systems for real-world applications. Participants will learn how to design, build, evaluate and operate AI systems through instructor-led sessions, online learning, assignments and project work. As per IIT Hyderabad, this course follows a continuous “learn, apply and build” approach. Instead of keeping theoretical learning and practical work separate, participants will develop a single production-style AI agent application throughout four-week programme.

The instructor-led sessions will be conducted by Dr Praveen Tammana, Dr Ashish Mishra and Dr Anupam Sanghi, faculty members from Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Hyderabad. N V S S Koundinya, an AI Solution Architect, will also be part of teaching team. Those who successfully complete assignments, assessments and other programme requirements will receive an IIT Hyderabad Professional Certificate.
