Jamia Millia Islamia Distance Admission Application Ends on Sept 8; Check Newly Added Programmes

JMI Admission 2026: Jamia Millia Islamia will close admission to its programmes offered through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the 2026-27 academic session on September 8, 2026. The earlier deadline was August 10. Candidates interested in JMI's distance and online programmes should complete their applications online. 

They need to complete JMI CDOE admission application form 2026 by visiting official website jmicoe.in. JMI currently offers 49 programmes through CDOE and has introduced 11 additional certificate and diploma programmes for new academic session.

How to Apply for JMI CDOE Admission 2026?

Candidates can apply online through official JMI CDOE admission portal. The basic application process is as follows

• Visit JMI CDOE Admission Portal

• Click on New User Registration

• Enter details and submit JMI CDOE registration form

• An Account Activation Code will be sent to registered mobile number or email ID

• Activate account using code and create a password

• Log in to CDOE admission portal using the registered email ID and password

• Select programme and fill in online application form

• Upload documents and provide details

• Pay applicable application fee, if required

• Submit form and keep a copy

JMI Admission 2026: Document Verification From September 26

After application concludes, shortlisted candidates will receive admission-related information on their registered email addresses. JMI will also communicate the schedule and other details related to physical document verification to the selected candidates.

The document verification and fee submission process will be conducted from September 26 to October 6, 2026. Candidates have to complete all remaining admission formalities by October 10, 2026.

JMI B.Ed, MBA Entrance Exam 2026 Rescheduled

JMI has also revised dates for entrance examination for B.Ed and MBA programmes through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. Now, JMI CDOE entrance examination will be conducted on September 19, 2026, at JMI campus. Candidates appearing for exam will receive details about test through their respective admit cards.

JMI Introduces 11 New Certificate and Diploma Courses

JMI has expanded its CDOE programme portfolio by introducing 11 new certificate and diploma programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. The newly introduced programmes include certificate courses in:

• French

• Spanish

• Chinese

• Persian

• Arabic

• Russian

• Photography and Video Editing

• Anchoring and Broadcast Presentation

• Indian Knowledge Systems

The university has also introduced a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Media and an Advanced Diploma in Conflict Analysis and Peace Building.
