Students have claimed that only four days for preparation between in-sem and end-sem exams. While speaking on the same, the college authorities have ensured to take a decision soon. Pune University registrar Prafull Pawar said, "We have taken the cognizance of their issues. We will try and take the decision as soon as possible. Around 160 Engineering colleges are affiliated to Pune University," as reported by Times Now.
However, the protesting students have said that only 3-4 days are left for the exam and the protest will continue until the administration takes some decision on the matter. As the video shows, hundreds of students have gathered outside the Main building of Pune University demanding the varsity to postpone exams. Notably, around 75,000 students study in various colleges at Pune University.
As per the schedule, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will be conducting the second-year engineering exams from January 25. While the last semester exams were concluded on January 20, 2023. This leaves very less gap between the two-semester exams.
