Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) Convocation 2023: The Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) held its 47th convocation ceremony during which 1,929 students were awarded degrees. Governor-cum-chancellor of universities Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar conferred degrees to graduates, and postgraduate students along with research scholars completing PhD and DLitt.

The Chancellor asked all the degree holders to take oaths about serving the state and the nation with integrity and purpose for the benefit of humanity along with their respective career pursuits. He also urged the students to aim for becoming employment providers rather than merely being an employee.

"It is very important for students to become educated and employable but, it is equally important to build character and have a positive personality besides using their knowledge and skills to serve society alongside professional pursuits," the Chancellor said.

The chancellor also stressed upon quality research works besides asking the university officials to make sincere efforts to regularize the academic session.
