VIT Bhopal University has welcomed the New Engineering Cohort Session (2026-27), aiming to prepare students for an AI-Driven Future. This orientation session was organised for students entering demanding popular engineering programs, including biotechnology, computer science and engineering specialisations. The event was inaugurated under the leadership of Dr. G. Viswanathan, Chancellor of VIT Bhopal University. Key leadership figures, including Vice President Dr. Sankar Viswanathan, Assistant Vice President Ms Kadhambari S. Viswanathan, and Trustee Mrs. Ramani Balasundaram, also supported and attended the event.

A Sneak Peak into VIT Bhopal Fresher’s Orientation 2026-27 Batch
To inspire newly enrolled students, top tech industry experts and leaders were invited as special guests. Mr. Amit Chaudhry, Director, Microsoft CSS joined as Chief Guest. He shared valuable advice on industry trends, technical skills, and how students can prepare for future career success. Swami Vigyanananda Ji, a well-known spiritual thinker and alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, attended as the Guest of Honour.
Ms. Priyanka Giri from the 2023 batch also joined as a distinguished alumna. Dr. G Viswanathan, Chancellor of VIT Bhopal University, encouraged students to view their university years as an opportunity to develop not only technical excellence, but also integrity, leadership, and commitment to nation-building. Overall, the Orientation Program highlighted VIT Bhopal's commitment to delivering industry-aligned education, helping freshers step confidently into their AI-focused engineering journey.
