NIFT 2026 Situation Test is expected to take place in April 2026 at designated NIFT campuses.

Candidates will have to pay ₹ 200/- per challenged NIFT question. After the fee payment, objections can be raised.

NTA NIFT Provisional Answer Key is available at exams.nta.nic.in/answer-key-challenge-for-nfit-ug-pg/.

NTA NIFT Objection window is open from February 17, 2026 to February 19, 2026, 11:50 PM. After this, no objections will be accepted.

To challenge the NIFT Answer Key, pay INR 200 per question through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking/UPI. No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee.

After downloading the NIFT 2026 Answer Key, candidates can estimate their potential marks by following these steps.

If the subject experts determine that a candidate's objection is valid, the NTA will update the NIFT answer key 2026. In cases where the challenge is accepted, the objection fee will be refunded. However, if the objection is incorrect, the fee will not be refunded.

NIFT Answer Key is only available for NIFT GAT 2026. No Answer Key is released for NIFT CAT.

NTA has also released the NIFT Answer Key Challenge for NIFT NLEA (UG). Candidates can check the answer key using Application No and password.

The final key of NIFTEE 2026 is used to calculate the exam scores, which ultimately leads to the declaration of the results and the commencement of the admission process of NIFT.

NTA releases the recorded responses and the NIFT question paper on the NTA website soon after the exam. The recorded responses are available for around 2-3 days.  

NIFT 2026 Answer Key objection window opens for two days in the third week of February. It allows candidates to challenge any discrepancies in the provisional answer key.

If seats remain vacant after the regular counseling rounds, NIFT 2026 may conduct spot counseling. Notifications will be shared on the official website.

Yes, NIFT 2026 follows a reservation policy:

• SC: 15%
• ST: 7.5%
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 27%
• PwD: 5%
• Foreign Nationals/NRIs: 15%

In case of equal scores in NIFT Stage 1, the marks obtained in tests with higher weightage will be compared first to break the tie.

After the NIFT objection period closes, the examination board reviews all the challenges submitted by candidates. Based on this review, necessary corrections are made and the NIFTEE final answer key is released.

During NIFTEE Objection period, candidates review the provisional answer key and raise any discrepancies they notice in the objective section of the exam. Each objection required an online fee of ₹200 per question, which is non-refundable, and candidates have to provide valid supporting evidence for their claims.

To access the NIFT Answer Key, use Application Number and Password. Security pin will also be required.

If you miss the objection window, you will not be able to raise any disputes regarding the provisional answer key. The final answer key will be released based on the existing data, and the scores will be calculated accordingly, impacting the subsequent stages of the admission process.

The NIFT 2026 final merit list is based on performance in the Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), Situation Test, and/or Personal Interview, depending on the program.

For NIFT B.Des, General Category, 40 - 50 is the goodscore for the general category, for OBC, it will be around 30, for SC/ST, it will be around 30.

For B.F Tech: 95+ for General, 80 for OBC, 60 for SC/ST
