The application process for SEED 2026 has started. The exam will be conducted on May 03, 2026 for the M.Des programme. Read on to know the full details.
SEED M.Des Application 2026
The SEED 2026 application process of M.Des programme at Symbiosis Institute of Design has started today, January 05, 2026 (Monday). The application forms are available online on the website: sid.edu.in. SEED 2026 Application fee will be Rs. 3250. The last date to register is April 25, 2026 (Saturday). SEED M.Des exam will be on May 03, 2026 (Sunday).
Eligibility for SEED M.Des 2026
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 4-year duration in any specialization, after 12th standard or equivalent to the 12th standard from any university or institute recognised by law in India.
- Candidates should have a Full-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design/Fine Arts/Applied Arts/ Architecture, after 12th standard or equivalent to 12th standard, from any university or institute recognised by law in India. With a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

In previous editions, when the exam was held in centre based mode, the candidate had to select their options at the time of filling out the SEED application form. The candidates had to select three exam centres in order of priority.
On the day of the SEED 2025 exam, the candidate needs to keep their admit cards and ID ready. Also, the candidate must be ready with their laptops, webcams, and other accessories to take the exam.
The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) offers a Bachelor of Design (B. Des) of four years duration. Admission to the course is conducted through the SEED entrance exam and PRPI rounds. The fee structure for the B.Des programme is given in the table below.
