The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has officially announced the date for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2026. The exam will be conducted on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
UCEED is the national-level entrance exam for admission to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at participating IITs and design institutes across India. Candidates aspiring to pursue undergraduate design courses are advised to begin their preparation early.
As per the official statement, detailed information, including eligibility criteria, application process, syllabus, and other guidelines, will be released by October 1, 2025, on the official website: www.uceed.iitb.ac.in

The admission cut-off for UCEED 2025 will be released on April 21, 2025.
The seat allotment will be released online at the UCEED 2025 - IIT Bombay admission portal uceed.iitb.ac.in.
To download the seat allotment-cum-cutoff, you need to click on the seat allotment download button given under B. Des 1st Round of Seat Allotment heading. Note that no log-in is required to download the seat allotment results pdf.
Candidates who are allotted seats have to accept the seat and pay the fees. Note that candidates were also given the option to withdraw their seats.
