New Exam Centres Proposed for JEE Main 2027

The proposal aims to reduce the chances of getting a far-away centre and reduce travel-related stress for the NTA exams. For this, it has been propsed to consider government schools and educational institutions with suitable computer laboratories. Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, PM SHRI schools and government technical institutions are among the institutions mentioned in the report.

However, this is just a recommendation and does not mean that every district will now have a new JEE Main exam centre for the 2027 session. NTA has not yet confirmed the implementation of this proposal for the upcoming examination.
