There are a total of 5,000 internship openings available for students and those selected will receive a certificate and a digital badge upon course completion.  

The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has invited applications for a two-month virtual internship programme in artificial intelligence for students. Interested students can apply through the official website of the AICTE by February 23, 2022. 

There are a total of 5,000 internship openings available for students and those selected will receive a certificate and a digital badge upon course completion. The aim is to create an industry-ready workforce that will eventually become leaders in emerging technologies. 

Eligibility criteria for AICTE internship programme 

  • Those pursuing BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MCA, diploma, etc, in any engineering and polytechnic institutions that are members of EduSkills can participate in the internship programme. 

Students need to first register themselves through AICTE internship portal Tulip. The selected students’ list will be sent to the authorities of the institute concerned. Shortlisted students will be enrolled on AWS Academy Portal and will be given course access.  Students need to complete the course within four weeks by giving online assessments.

Those who successfully complete the online course will be assigned a project. Students with the help of their faculties need to complete the project within four weeks and submit it as per the format. Students will have to attend four-day (eight hours) mentoring sessions by industry experts during the project duration. They will then have to attend two hours of career advancement sessions delivered by HR.
