AKTU rolls out special calendar for BTech students

Move will allow colleges, students to plan for campus placements, examinations, assessments, internships, and extracurricular activities in advance, sayd Dean (Academics).  

APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (AKTU) has published a special academic calendar on its website (ktu.edu.in) for final-year students of engineering colleges under the varsity in the state. The New Indian Express reported, Dean (Academics) A Sadiq said that the move would allow colleges and students to plan ahead for campus placements, examinations, assessments, internships, and extracurricular activities. It will also help students plan their higher education at foreign universities in advance. 

BTech students in their final semester will receive their provisional certificates and consolidated grade cards through the portal before August 5 next year. These certificates will be made available to the hotel management and architecture students on July 20 and August 10, 2022, respectively. Certificates for postgraduate programmes such as MTech, MArch, MCA, and MBA will be accessible through the portal by August 5, 18, 5 and 30 next year, respectively. 

UPTU/ AKTU stops counselling for BTech admissions 2021 

Meanwhile, AKTU counselling 2021 for BTech admission has been withheld due to technical reaosns. New dates for counselling and seat allotment will be announced soon on the official website at upcet.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who have been allotted seats in round 1 seat allotment have been nullifed and physical reporting of all such candidates have been cancelled. The AKTU will soon announce fresh schedule for UPTU counselling 2021. 

Uttar Pradesh BTech admission 2021 will be through JEE Main scores. Uttar Prdesh State Engineering Entrance Examination (UPSEE) was discontinued last year and AKTU announced admission in engineering courses through JEE Main scores. The counselling process was renamed from UPSEE to UPCET counselling.
