Amrita Extends BTech Admissions 2026 to July 15 via JEE Main Scores
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has extended the last date for BTech admissions 2026 through JEE Main 2026 scores. Eligible candidates who have not yet applied can now complete the registration process by July 15, 2026, through the official admission website.
Candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2026 and meet the eligibility criteria can apply for admission to BTech programmes offered across Amrita's engineering campuses till July 15. The university accepts admissions through both the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) and JEE Main scores. As per the admission policy, 30% of BTech seats are allotted to candidates applying with valid JEE Main ranks.
Students must complete the online application process before the deadline and submit all the required details and documents. Those shortlisted based on their JEE Main performance will be considered for admission in BTech seat across Amrita campuses.
Amrita BTech Admission 2026 Through JEE Main: Eligibility
Candidates applying through JEE Main scores should have:
- A valid JEE Main 2026 score.
- The minimum PCM marks in class 12 needed for admission is 55%.
- In each subject (Physics, Chemistry, and Maths), candidates need 50%.
How to Apply for Amrita BTech Admission 2026
Candidates can follow these steps to apply:
- Visit the official Amrita admission website - aeee.amrita.edu.
- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Fill in the online application form with personal, academic, and JEE Main details.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee online.
Candidates are advised to complete the application well before the July 15 deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. The university has also announced that seat allotment is subject to the availability of seats only. As of now, no further allotment rounds are planned.
