Amrita has announced the reduction in class 12 percentage in PCM for admission to BTech courses. Earlier, the minimum aggregate mark needed in Physics, Chemistry and Maths was 60%. This has now been reduced to 55%. However, individually in Maths, Physics and Chemistry, candidates need 50%, which is the same as earlier.

Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham has revised the Amrita BTech admission 2026 eligibility. The change has been introduced in the minimum percentage of marks needed in Physics, Chemistry and Maths for admissions via AEEE and JEE Mains. Check complete details below.Β

Amrita has announced the reduction in class 12 percentage in PCM for admission to BTech courses. Earlier, the minimum aggregate mark needed in Physics, Chemistry and Maths was 60%. This has now been reduced to 55%. However, individually in Maths, Physics and Chemistry, candidates need 50%, which is the same as earlier. Apart from the minimum percentage of marks needed, candidates should also meet other criteria that are -Β 

  • Candidaes should have been born on or after 1st July 2005.
  • Passed class 12 boards with the required minimum percentage.

TheΒ  AEEE 2026 counselling process has started. The registration for the Amrita BTech Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) will close today, May 27, at 11:59 pm. To register for AEEE counselling, candidates have to pay INR 5000. The registration process includes verification through OTP, filling in the academic preferences and counselling fee payment. During the registration process, a candidate can submit a maximum of 60 academic preferences. A combination of Campus & BTech Branches offered in each campus is called Academic Preference.

Β The trial allotment will be done on May 28, and the round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on June 1. Trial allotment is published for the candidates to understand the possibility of getting their highest Academic Preference. Β Candidates are allowed to change the Academic Preference if they wish to do so, after checking the Academic Preference allotted in the trial round.

Candidates with AEEE rank or JEE Mains percentile/rank have to register for CSAP 2026 for admission to the BTech programme offered at 8 campuses (Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Nagercoil, Faridabad and Haridwar) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Amrita CSAP seat allotment is fully online, and there is no need for the candidates to visit the campus to attend the counselling.
