Amrita to Close BTech Applications Via JEE Main 2026 on July 15; Apply Before Deadline Tomorrow
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will close the application window for BTech admissions through JEE Main 2026 scores on July 15, 2026. Eligible candidates who have not yet completed the registration process can submit their applications online before the deadline.
Amrita University had recently extended the last date to provide additional time to JEE Main 2026 qualified candidates seeking admission to its UG engineering programmes. As per the admission guidelines, Amrita offers BTech admissions through two routes - the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) 2026 and JEE Main 2026 scores. Around 30% of the total BTech seats are to be filled through valid JEE Main ranks, while the remaining 70% of the seats were allotted based on AEEE performance.
Candidates applying through the JEE Main channel must complete the online application process by July 15. The university has also clarified that seat allotment will be subject to the availability of vacant seats under the JEE Main admission category.
To apply, candidates need to visit the official admission portal, register using their basic details, fill in the application form, enter their JEE Main 2026 score and personal information, upload the required documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form. Applicants are advised to keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference.
Amrita BTech Admission 2026: Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects from a recognised board.
- They should also possess a valid JEE Main 2026 score and satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university for admission through the JEE Main channel.
The university offers BTech programmes across its engineering campuses, including Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil and Haridwar. Admissions will be offered based on merit, candidate preferences, and seat availability during the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP).
