Amrita University has invited applications for BTech programmes. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for any BTech course.  

Eligibility criteria for Amrita University BTech admissions 

To become eligible for undergraduate programmes, the candidate needs to have a valid score in the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) 2022. Apart from AEEE 2022, Amrita University also accepts scores of JEE Main 2022, Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), or Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam. For AEEE – Engineering 2022 centre-based test, the university is following the JEE Mains format. 

AEEE 2022 to be held in two phases 

AEEE 2022 will be conducted in two phases in May and June 2022 on four campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham located at Amritapuri (Kerala), Bengaluru, Chennai, and Coimbatore. Candidates planning to take AEEE should be born on or after July 1, 2000. They should have cleared Class XII or equivalent while securing an aggregate of 60 per cent marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry with not less than 55 per cent marks in each of these three subjects. 

To qualify for admission, eligible candidates must take centre-based test. Two attempts are allowed and the best score will be considered for ranking. Amrita School of Engineering has 50 per cent of its total seats allocated for scholarships. For more details, candidates are advised to visit the following link, https://amrita.edu/btech.
