AP EAMCET May 13 Day 2 Exam Analysis: Balanced Paper with Tricky Maths and Conceptual Physics, Chem was Easy to tackle
The AP EAMCET May 13 Day 2 exam concluded with a moderate overall difficulty. Chemistry emerged the easiest and most scoring section across both shifts. Maths proved true to its name and was lengthy and tricky, while Physics remained conceptual and formula-heavy. Experts recommend a good attempt of 115+ questions for the upcoming sessions. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE wrapped up Day 2 of AP EAMCET 2026 exam today at 5 PM. Aspirants who appeared in the state-level test today, shared that the overall exam was of moderate level. The test structure was uniform across the day, stringent time management proved game-changer due to highly calculated sub-sections, especially in Maths and Physics subjects. Chemistry was easy to handle and might help students score more in the exam. Check here the detailed exam analysis of AP EAMCET exam.

AP EAMCET Section-Wise Breakdown
Maths carried a major chunk of 80 questions, and emerged as the exhausting paper of the day across both shifts. The shift 1 focused on coordinate geometry and multi-step calculus problems. Shift 2 focused on integration, vector algebra, matrices, and probability. The questions were doable although it was time-consuming, preventing many students from attempting the full section comfortably.
Physics was moderate. Students shared that formula application wasn’t enough to score. High weightage was assigned to sections such asMechanics, Electrostatics, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics. Shift 1 featured direct numerical applications, while Shift 2 integrated tricky conceptual constraints. Chemistry was the easiest and straightforward section with many students even sharing that it will help them gain additional marks..
The proceedings now move to the third day of AP EAMCET exam, as the test will be conducted on May 14, 2026 across two shifts.
