AP ECET 2026 Exam Date Announced!

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced the AP ECET 2026 exam date. The authority will conduct the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test  (AP ECET) on April 23, 2026. Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test will be held as a state-level exam for diploma holders in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy and B.Sc. graduates to get lateral entry into the second year of B.E./B.Tech/B.Pharmacy programmes in the state.

Applications for AP ECET are expected to start in the first week of March 2026. Candidates who wish to apply for AP ECET 2026 will have to register themselves on the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. More details on the exam format, syllabus and the tentative schedule will be announced through the official notification only. The exam will be held in two sessions on the same date as mentioned in the public notice dated December 22, 2025. The exam timings will be announced through the official notification itself.

What is AP ECET Exam?

Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is conducted annually by JNTU, Anantapur, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam is conducted to select Diploma holders of Engineering Technology/ Pharmacy and BSc Graduates for admissions under the lateral entry scheme to the 2nd year of BE/ BTech/ BPharmacy Programmes offered at Universities and AICTE/PCI approved Institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
