AP PGECET Phase II Counselling

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced the seat allotment results for the AP PGECET Phase II Counselling on September 30, 2024. Candidates who have registered, verified documents, and locked their choices can check their results by visiting the official website - pgecet-sche.aptonline.in. The AP PGECET counselling registrations for Phase II started on September 25, 2024. 

Self-reporting starts from October 1 to 4, 2024. Selected candidates must report to the allotted college for physical verification and payment of fees.

The steps to check the Phase II seat allotment list of AP PGECET 2024 counselling is as follows -

  • Visit the official website of AP PGECET - pgecet-sche.aptonline.in
  • Click on the allotment list link 
  • Enter your AP PGECET application number and date of birth
  • Download your AP PGECET allotment letter

Important Documents Required for AP PGECET Certificate Verification

Candidates must carry the following documents during self-reporting to the alloted institutes for AP PGECET counselling-

  • GATE or GPAT scorecard
  • Provisional certificate/ degree certificate and memorandum of marks of qualifying examination.
  • SSC or equivalent
  • Marksheets from Class X to graduation or residence certificate
  • Integrated community certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Candidates who have studied in Telangana but wish to claim AU/SVU regions must submit their Local Status Certificate. 

AP PGECET is a state-postgraduate common entrance test conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, on behalf of APSCHE. The entrance exam offers admissions to M.Tech and M.Pharma courses offered by colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Q:   Who is the conducting authority for Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2024?

A:

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati conducts Andhra Pradesh PGECET on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam will be conducted to shortlist candidates for admission into various courses in Universities/ Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The exam will be usually conducted in the month of May by the University. The release date of the application form can be expected in April.

Q:   When was the Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2024 exam conducted?

A:

The Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2024 dates were May 29, 30, and 31, 2024. The candidates need to fill out the application form before the deadline. The candidates who successfully submitted the application form received the admit card. The admit card is a mandatory document to take to the exam centre.

Q:   Is Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2024 Phase 2 self-reporting and reporting at colleges by the candidates going on?

A:

No, The conducting authority will start the AP PGECET Phase II self-reporting of the candidates from October 1 to 4, 2024 for GATE/GPAT-qualified students, and for AP PGECET qualified candidates, the self-reporting to institutes will start from October 8 to October 12, 2024.
