BITSAT 2025 Session 1 exam starts with technical glitches; students unable to enter centre for exam

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is commencing the BITSAT 2025 Session 1 exam today, i.e., May 26, 2025. The first slot of the examination is to be held from 9 AM to 12 Noon. However, multiple students from different locations have complained about being unable to enter their BITSAT 2025 exam centre due to technical glitches and server crashes. The centre gatekeepers have informed the students that there is a delay in their examination due to unresolved technical issues.

Students at the Bhonwal Institute of Engineering, Lucknow and Ahmedabad centres have reported on social media platforms about the inability to enter their BITSAT 2025 exam centre to attempt their exam. The authorities have assured the students of a quick resolution so that they can enter to attempt the online test as soon as possible.
BITSAT 2025 Session 1 Dates
BITSAT 2025 Session 1 is being held from May 26 to 30, 2025, as a computer-based test. The examination is being held as a computer-based test in various slots. Qualified candidates will be considered eligible for admission into the BE courses offered by the participating BITS campuses.

The BITSAT 2026 exam dates are not out yet. However, it is tentalively scheduled to be held in May and June 2026 for session 1 and 2. Candidates can attempt one or both of the sessions of the exam. The test is MCQ-based with questions on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning.
To access the online BITSAT slot booking, the candidates will have to login with the required credentials. The official BITSAT slot booking link will be available online at bitsadmission.com. The login credentials required for slot booking are the candidate's BITSAT application form number and password. In case the candidates forget their login credentials, then they can follow the instructions prescribed by the authorities to regenerate the details.

BITSAT will be conducted as a computer-based test at various slots. The authorities are expected to conduct BITSAT 2026 in two sessions. For each day of the examination, there will be two slots - Morning Session (9 AM to 12 Noon) and Afternoon Session (2 PM to 5 PM). During the BITSAT slot booking process, the candidates will be able to book their preferred slots from the available ones.
