Breaking: NTA Withholds JEE Main 2026 Result of 68 Candidates; Know Details

The NTA has withheld the JEE Main 2026 result of 68 candidates, as per the latest official update. The decision was announced along with the declaration of the JEE Main 2026 result on the official website. The results of these candidates have not been declared as they were found indulging in Unfair Means practices. The JEE Main 2026 result was declared for lakhs of candidates who appeared for the exam. However, the NTA withheld result list includes 68 candidates, whose scorecards are not available for download.

NTA has clearly mentioned on its official brochure that the result of JEE Mains 2026 of the candidates who indulge in Unfair Means Practices will be cancelled and will not be declared. Similarly, the result of those candidates who appear from the Centre other than the one allotted to them or allow another candidate/person to write the examination on their behalf will be cancelled. Any candidate who appears in a Session more than once will lead to cancellation of his/ her candidature and will be debarred as per the relevant UFM clause. No plea will be entertained in this regard.
JEE Main 2026 Result OUT - How to Download?
The JEE Mains 2026 result has been released. The result is now available under the respective logins of the candidates. Check the steps below to check the JEE Mains result 2026:
- Go to Official Websites: Open your browser and visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Find the Result Link: Look for the link that says "Result of JEE (Main)" or "View Scorecard" on the home page and click on it.
- Enter Credentials: On the JEE Main 2026 login window, input your Application Number and Date of Birth or Password.
- Enter Security Pin: Type the security code (CAPTCHA) shown on the screen.
- Submit: Click the "Submit" button.
- View & Download: Your JEE Main scorecard will appear; download it and take a printout for future reference.
The JEE Main exam is conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions. It is also the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced.
