The National Testing Agency has declared the JEE Main 2026 results. The JEE result link for session 1 is now available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. To check the result, candidates have to use their application number and password. Also, NTA has announced the JEE Mains session 1 topper list.

A total of 12 candidates have secured 100 percentile in JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exam. JEE Mains Result 2026 LIVE: NTA has released the JEE Mains result 2026 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The link to check the result is now active and is available below. To check the result, candidates have to use their application number, password and CAPTCHA. The NTA JEE Mains 2026 result is declared as a scorecard, and candidates can check their subject-wise and overall percentile.

With the JEE Mains result 2026, NTA has also released the JEE Mains 2026 toppers with the official result notice. The toppers list has been released category-wise, state-wise and gender wise. Total 12 candidates have secured 100 percentile in JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exam.

How to Check and Download the JEE Main Result 2026 Session 1?

Candidates can check the steps below to download the JEE Mains scorecard below:

  1. Go to Official Websites: Open your browser and visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  2. Find the Result Link: Look for the link that says "Result of JEE (Main)" or "View Scorecard" on the home page and click on it.
  3. Enter Credentials: On the JEE Main 2026 login window, input your Application Number and Date of Birth or Password.
  4. Enter Security Pin: Type the security code (CAPTCHA) shown on the screen.
  5. Submit: Click the "Submit" button.
  6. View & Download: Your JEE Main scorecard will appear; download it and take a printout for future reference. 

What is NTA Score in JEE Mains?

NTA Score is the normalised score or percentile scores released through JEE Main result. These scores are calculated according to performace of candidates in their exam session. To prepare NTA score, a normalisation process has been followed to ensure fairness for all candidates. 

NTA score or Percentile score is the percentage of candidates who have scored equal to or below (same or lower raw scores) that particular percentile in exam. For example, 99 percentile will indicate that the candidate has scored better than 99% students who attempt the exam session.

NTA has a fixed formula to convert raw scores into NTA scores or percentile scores. A normalisation process is used to calculate the JEE Main percentile score for both sessions. For calculation, information such as raw scores and the number of candidates in the exam session will be required.

Subject-wise and total raw scores are converted into percentile scores using the formula given below:

With the session 1 result, NTA has only released the list of candidates with 100 percentile score. Also, the toppers have been released state-wise and category-wise. Check the list of toppers below. Note that NTA will not release the JEE Mains 2026 All India Ranks with the session 1 result.

JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 Result Announced - What Now?

As the JEE Main result 2026 is out, candidates should take care of the following things:

  1. Check all details carefully - like your name, application number, percentile in each subject and the overall percentile.
  2. If there are mistakes in any details in the JEE Mains scorecard, then contact NTA for corrections.
  3. Evaluate the performance and prepare for the JEE Mains session 2, which will be held between April 2 and 9. Registrations for Session 2 will end on February 25.
  4. If you have achieved 96+ percentiles in JEE Mains, then you can start preparing for JEE Advanced for IIT admissions. JEE Advanced 2026 will be held on May 17.
