CG PET 2024 counselling registration process has started for Round 1. All candidates will have to complete the registration process for CG PET counselling 2024 by August 12, 2024. Read to know about the CG PET 2024 counselling process, seat allotment and more.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has commenced the CG PET 2024 counselling registration process for Round 1. Candidates can now register for the first round of CG PET counselling 2024 online at cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in until August 12, 2024. The authorities will not accept any other mode of registration for CG PET 2024 counselling. Separate registrations will be open for the different rounds of CG PET counselling.
Steps for CG PET 2024 counselling registration
Candidates can follow the given steps to register for the counselling of CG PET 2024 (Round 1).
- Go to cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in
- Click on the counselling link.
- Candidates will have to register by providing information such as CG PET/JEE Main roll number, domicile, date of birth, etc. A password also has to be generated for future login purposes.
- After registration, the candidates will have to log in using their registration number and password and fill out the form with the required details.
- The scanned documents have to be uploaded as per the official specifications.
- Next, the candidates will have to pay the counselling fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card.
- Finally, the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses in the order of preference and submit them.
CG PET 2024 seat allotment for Round 1 will be announced on August 14, 2024. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate’s rank, preferences, category and seat availability. All of the allotted candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date, otherwise their allotment will be cancelled.

After completing the registration process for the CG PET counselling process, the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses. It is to be noted that the selection of choices has to be done in the order of preference. Since the order of preference is an important factor during the allotment process, the candidates are advised to be careful while making their selection. No requests for change of submitted choices will be accepted by the authorities.
CG PET seat allotment result will be released online. The registered and qualified candidates will be able to check their seat allotment status online. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while selecting the order of their preferences in the counselling form. All of the mentioned factors will be taken into consideration for the seat allotment process. If the candidates are not satisfied with their allotment, then they can participate in the next round of counselling.
