The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has completed the counselling process for the 2025 academic session and is now gearing up for the 2026 admission cycle. The authority has updated the official website at comedk.org with the message: “Stay Tuned for 2026 Updates”. This indicates that the COMEDK UGET 2026 notification can be expected soon.

Aspirants of COMEDK UGET 2026 can expect the exam notification and registration dates in the coming months. Typically, the COMEDK UGET registration process starts in February, while the exam is conducted in May. Qualified candidates have to participate in the counselling process for admission to their preferred college and course. The authority will release all the updates on the COMEDK 2026 exam date, syllabus, eligibility, and more on the official website, comedk.org. 

What is COMEDK UGET?

COMEDK conducts the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) annually for admission to engineering programs offered at participating institutes across Karnataka. The authority also conducts a centralised counselling for Architecture admissions based on NATA scores or JEE Main paper 2 scores.

The COMEDK exam comprises 180 questions to be answered in 3 hours. All the questions are multiple-choice questions having four options, and candidates have to select the correct one. The COMEDK syllabus includes topics from classes 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the CBSE curriculum. As per the COMEDK exam pattern 2026, applicants will be awarded one mark for each correct answer, while there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
