COMEDK UGET 2025 Choice Filling Starts at comedk.org; Vacant Seats Announced
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is conducting the COMEDK 2025 round 4 choice filling from September 2 to 4 (10 AM). The authority has updated the COMEDK round 4 choice filling link on the website, comedk.org. Students have to log in to the candidate portal using their application sequence no/ user ID and password to fill in their preferences.
Candidates participating in COMEDK UGET 2025 counselling for round 4 can now exercise their choice-filling option to select preferred institutes. Students must remember to select in order of priority, as seat allotment will be based on filled preferences and seat availability. The steps to complete the choice-filling process are mentioned below.
Steps to Complete the COMEDK 2025 Choice-filling
- Visit the website, comedk.org
- Click on the engineering login tab on the homepage
- Enter your login credentials (Application sequence no/User ID and password)
- Navigate to the ‘Choice-filling’ tab.
- Select whether you would like to add a preference based on the college list or the course list.
- Click on ‘college’ or ‘course’ buttons to change the view from college to course list or vice versa in the College/Course table.
- Click on “Add” to add a college and course to the selected Preference table.
- Check whether the college name and course name you selected appear on the “selected preferences” table.

The authority will release the COMEDK 2025 round 4 seat allotment on September 5 at 2 PM. Candidates who are allotted seats in this round have to submit their decisions by September 9, 2 PM.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will conduct four rounds of COMEDK UGET counselling 2025. Applicants declared qualified are eligible to participate in the COMEDK counselling process 2025. Round 1 of COMEDK counselling 2025 is conducted for both general merit and Hyderabad Karnataka region candidates. However, round 2 is conducted for Hyderabad Karnataka region students only. COMEDK counselling rounds 3 and 4 are conducted for general merit candidates.

The stages of COMEDK UGET counselling covers the following stages -
- Register and document uploading (June 9 to 18)
- The documents are verified by the exam authorities.
- If the documents are successfully verified, then candidates are eligible to participate in the mock round and Round 1 counselling.
- Next, candidates must participate in the mock choice filling round.
- After the choice filling, a mock allotment round list will be published on the website.
- Once done, the round 1 choice filling begins, where candidates can make changes in the choice filling form (if required).
- After the process, the seat allotment list for Round 1 will be published on the website.
- Thenafter, candidates need to make a decision from anyone of the following - accept and freeze/accept and upgrade/reject and upgrade or reject and withdraw.
The participation in the round 2 and 3 depends on the decisions made during the previous rounds. The COMEDK 2025 round 1 counselling registration started on June 9 and the last date to register is June 18 (2:00 pm).
