Counselling for pharmacy, engineering in Andhra Pradesh to begin on Oct 25

Online registration will be conducted from October 25 to 30 and verification of certificates will be done from October 26 to 31. 

The Department of Technical education has released the admission notification for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (APEAPCET-2021). 

Education minister Adimulapu Suresh said the counselling and admission process will be held online, strictly following the guidelines. Online registration will be conducted from October 25 to 30. Verification of certificates from October 26 to 31. Options can be exercised from November 1 to 5 followed by change of option opportunity on November 6. The allotment of seats will be done on November 10. Classes will start from November 15. 

AP EAPCET Counselling Schedule 

As per a report published in Times of India, a total of 1,66,640 candidates had appeared for the examination and 1,34,205 candidates qualified. A total of 6,418 seats are available at university engineering colleges. A total of 68,609 engineering seats are available at 149 private engineering colleges across the state. 

A total of 2,330 intake is available at four private universities. A total of 3,318 pharmacy seats are available. The minister said the process would be conducted in a fair and transparent manner and students should submit necessary documents for valid admission. 

The minister said the government was planning to change the syllabus for students of Class 8 to 10. The new syllabus is designed to meet the standards of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
