The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has announced the CSAB 2026 Special Round 1 seat allotment result today, August 6. Candidates who participated in the CSAB Special Round counselling can now check their allotment status by logging in to the official CSAB portal using their JEE Main 2026 application number and password.

The CSAB 2026 Round 1 allotment has been released for admissions to vacant seats available in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs after the completion of JoSAA counselling.
Candidates who have been allotted a seat must complete the next admission formalities within the prescribed deadline. The online reporting process has started along with the declaration of the allotment result. During this period, candidates are required to upload the necessary documents, complete document verification, pay the applicable admission fee, and submit their willingness option. According to the official schedule, these activities must be completed by August 10.
What Next After CSAB 2026 Round 1 Allotment?
Candidates allotted a seat in Special Round 1 should first download their allotment letter and carefully verify the institute and branch allotted to them. They must then complete online reporting by uploading the required documents and paying the prescribed fee.
Along with reporting, candidates must also submit their willingness option. The willingness selected in Round 1 will determine whether the candidate wishes to retain the allotted seat or be considered for upgradation in the next round, as per the CSAB counselling rules. Those who fail to complete the reporting process or submit the required willingness within the deadline may lose their allotted seat.
After the completion of the Round 1 reporting process, CSAB will process seat upgradation and prepare the Special Round 2 seat allotment based on candidates' willingness choices, vacant seats and merit.

Then he sat in CSAB special rounds and got NIT delhi ECE in round 2.
Hence, he accepted the seat and his fees in NIT jalandhar was transferred to NIT delhi along with other documents.
