The board has asked candidates to deposit seat acceptance fee and upload documents latest by November 19 (5 pm).

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has notified that after declaration of JoSAA Round 6 seat allotment on November 18, 2021, the candidates who have been allotted a seat first time in JoSAA Round 6 have to report online for admission to NIT+ institutes such as NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs, GFTIs through the JoSAA portal. They have to deposit the seat acceptance fee and upload required documents latest by November 19 (5 pm). The candidates have respond to the queries of the document verifying officer by November 20, 5 pm.  

The notice read to all candidates, who have been allotted seats in Round 1 to 6, the CSAB said there would be online reporting for provisional admission and no physical reporting. During the online reporting, candidates have to pay partial admission fee, which is INR 40,000 for unreserved category and INR 20,000 for reserved category, on the JoSAA portal latest by November 24 (5 pm). It said if the candidates do not pay partial admission fee within the given time, their candidature will be cancelled and their seats will be treated as vacant for further rounds of counselling (CSAB special rounds). 

After depositing the partial admission fee, the candidates should visit the respective allotted institute website for further formalities for admission to the first semester of the 2021-22 academic session.  

The CSAB stated, “If a candidate, having a seat ALLOTTED and SECURED in the JoSAA Rounds by paying the Partial Admission Fee, participates in the CSAB Special Rounds, the seat upgradation in the special rounds will automatically result into forfeit of the earlier seat. So the candidate should take special care in choice filling during CSAB special Rounds. After taking admission in the Finally Allotted Institute , any refund, if permissible, will be governed by the rules of Finally Allotted Institute for candidates who have SECURED admission.”
