DASA 2026 seat allotment result for round 1 counselling has been announced. Candidates can check the seat allotment status online from the official portal csab.nic.in and exercise their willingness option by August 10, 2026.

The Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur has announced the DASA 2026 round 1 seat allotment result. The seat allotment status can be checked online from the official website csab.nic.in using their JEE Main application number and password.

Candidate who has been allocated a seat needs to download the “Initial Seat Allotment Intimation Slip” by login to the website which has information regarding the Seat Allotment and steps to be followed for seat confirmation by the candidate.

The candidate needs to exercise the willingness mandatorily against the allocated seat by opting any one of the willingness ‘Freeze’, ‘Slide’, ‘Float’, ‘Surrender’, or, ‘Withdraw’

Candidates who do not exercise the available willingness option, will be automatically moved to the next round with float as their default willingness option.

Candidates will have to complete online reporting and provide their willingness option of Freeze/Float/Slide/Surrender/Withdraw by August 10, 2026.

Physical Reporting at Allocated Institute

Candidates have to report physically at the admitting institute after the conclusion of DASA seat allocation and seat acceptance, and complete all the admission formalities of the Institute including payment of balance institute/admission fees.

At the time of the physical reporting at the admitting institute, all the certificates will be re-checked by the institute and the admission will be cancelled if these fail to meet the requirements as per the institute norms.
