Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan will soon launch a self-assessment platform for students for various competitive exams, known as SATHEE. This new assessment platform will be called SATHEE (Self Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams).

The platform is aimed to provide Indian students with the opportunity for a self-paced interactive learning and assessment platform to prepare for competitive and other exams.

Sharing the information, University Grants Commission Chairman said: “Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan, shall be inaugurating the innovative SATHEE platform. The platform is scheduled to be launched on Monday 6th March at 10.45 am.

SATHEE has been developed by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), sharing details of the platform IIT Kanpur Director, Prof Abhay Karandikar wrote on Twitter: “SATHEE is an innovative initiative by the Ministry of Education & IIT Kanpur, designed to offer students a wealth of free learning resources, including 800 videos in 12 regional languages (leveraging the lectures of IITK PAL), an assessment platform with thousands of questions.”

The platform will also provide regular all-India mock tests to help prepare for competitive exams in addition to mentorship sessions by IIT and AIIMS students who shall act like SATHEES.

Prof Karandikar writes: “The learning platform contains video lectures, previous years' problems, NCERT material, #NCERT exemplar problems, old JEE/NEET problems, notes from IIT students, and other reference material to help aspirants in their preparation.”

The platform has an Artificial Intelligence-enabled dashboard, developed using Prutor, an IIT Kanpur technology developed by Prof. Amey Karkare from the Department of Computer Science, which leverages Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
