GATE 2024 Exam From Tomorrow; Check IISc Guidelines
GATE 2024: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will start the GATE exam from tomorrow: February 3, 2024. As per the schedule released, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 will be held over the weekends between February 3 and 11, 2024. The exams will be conducted in two sessions: forenoon and afternoon. The forenoon session exams will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon session exams will be conducted between 2:30 and 5:30 pm.
Candidates appearing for GATE 2024 will have to mandatorily carry the hall ticket to the exam centre. Along with admit card of GATE 2024 aspirants will also have to carry a valid photo identity card to the exam venue as mentioned in the application form. They must adhere to the GATE 2024 exam day guidelines to avoid disqualification.
IISc Guidelines For GATE 2024 Exam
- Candidates must carry their GATE admit card for verification along with the original valid photo ID card
- To facilitate identity verification by the exam centre personnel, they must report to the centre at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the exam
- They will not be allowed to log in 30 minutes after the exam starts
- They are permitted to log in and read the instructions 20 minutes before the exam begins
- During GATE 2024 exam, a virtual scientific calculator will be available on the candidate's computer
