GATE 2024 Exam: The Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc), Bangalore will be conducting GATE 2024 exam branch-wise on February 10 and 11 in computer-based test in two sessions. To appear in the GATE 2024 exam, candidates must download the admit card from the official website: gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Without carrying the GATE admit card 2024, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
As per the latest update from GATE official, it has been stated that, “The second week of GATE 2024 covering 12 papers will be held over four sessions, on 10th and 11th Feb 2024. CS students must report to the Centre for the session they are allotted, as given in the Admit card.” Earlier, IISc conducted GATE 2024 on February 3 and 4.

GATE 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
While appearing for the PG engineering exam, candidates must be aware of the guidelines that has to be followed. Check below GATE exam day guidelines:
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the GATE admit card for verification
- They also have to carry their Photo ID card, as mentioned on their admit card
- In case the quality of the photograph on the identification document is poor, they must bring an additional recent valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport and Voter ID)
- They must report to the GATE 202 centre at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the exam
- They will not be allowed to log in 30 minutes after the exam starts
- Personal calculators, mobile phones, watches of any kind or any other electronic devices are not permitted
