GATE 2024: Registration Open; Apply latest by September 29

This year, the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru will conduct the GATE 2024 exam. The last date to apply for the entrance test is September 29, 2023.

GATE 2024: Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru is all set to conduct Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. Candidates can fill GATE application form 2024 online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in till September 29, 2023.

Steps to register for GATE 2024 Exam

Candidates need to follow the following steps to fill out the GATE 2024 application form:

• Visit the official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
• Fill out the GATE 2024 online application form.
• Upload the required documents and pictures
• Pay the application fee
• Print the confirmation page

Documents needed to fill GATE 2023 application form

The documents needed to fill the GATE 2023 application form include a high-quality image of a candidate's photograph conforming to the specified requirements (File size should be between 2KB and 200KB), good quality image of the candidate's signature conforming to the specified requirements (File size should be between 2KB and 150KB), details of the valid Identity Document (ID) (The same ID, in original, should be carried to the examination hall). Valid Identity Documents are Passport/ PAN card/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar-UID/ College ID/ Employee ID/ Driving License, scanned copy of Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate or Certificate from the Head of the Department/ Institute (format specified in Appendix A of the Information Brochure) (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB), scanned copy of Category (SC/ST) certificate (if applicable) in pdf format (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB), Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB), scanned copy of Dyslexic Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB), net-banking/debit card/credit card details for fee payment.

IISc Bangalore has started a new paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Interested candidates can check the syllabus of the newly included paper on the official website. This time the application fee is also raised to INR 900 for Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates and for other categories, it is INR 1800.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level annual entrance exam that assesses candidates for a comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate-level subjects in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, and Humanities.
