GATE 2024 registration without late fees deadline extended until October 12

Earlier, The last date to apply for GATE 2024 was October 5 and the deadline to apply with a late fee is October 20. However, as per the latest announcement, candidates can apply with the regular fees till October 12.

GATE 2024 Registration without late fee deadline extended until October 12. Earlier, The last date to apply for GATE 2024 was October 5 and the deadline to apply with a late fee is October 20. However, as per the latest announcement, candidates can apply with the regular fees till October 12. Approximately 1.5 lakh aspirants have applied to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024). The institute has extended the last date of registration without late fee to enable more aspirants to apply. The deadline to apply without a late fee is October 12. However, as per the latest announcement, candidates can apply with the regular fees till October 12. “GATE 2024 received more than 1,37,000 applications today! To enable more aspirants to apply for GATE 2024, registration (without late fee) is being extended until October 5, 2023. Late fee will be applicable after October 5, 2023.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) registration 2024 form scrutiny will end on October 31. The GATE application form comprises registration, form filling, uploading of documents for the GATE exam, and payment of registration fees.

GATE 2024 registration fees

No application for GATE 2024 will be accepted without the registration fee. For Reserved and female candidates, the regular fee for GATE 2024 registration is INR 900 and late fee is INR 1,400. For all other categories, the regular fee is INR 1,800 and late fee is INR 2,300.

Aspirants who have not registered for the engineering entrance exam yet must note that the GATE registration link 2024 is available on the GATE online application processing system (GOAPS), goaps.iisc.ac.in. Candidates who wish to pursue postgraduate (PG) and direct doctoral programmes in IITs and IISc will have to appear in the exam. GATE score is also required for recruitment to several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

GATE exam 2024 will be held for 30 test papers spanning engineering, science, architecture, and humanities on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. On September 21, IISc announced that the GATE 2024 received nearly 25% more applications compared to last year.
