GATE 2026 Exam Ends: Provisional Answer Key Expected Soon, Results on March 19

GATE 2026 Exam Ends: IIT Guwahati has finally concluded the GATE 2026 exam for all 30 subject papers. The MTech engineering entrance exam was held on multiple dates- Feb 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts for various disciplines. Now that the national-level engineering exam is over, students are eagerly waiting for the GATE answer key 2026 release date. Check below for more. 

The GATE- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Exam 2026 has officially concluded with the final papers (ECE, AR and DA) held today on Feb 15, 2026. The exam was conducted by IIT Guwahati across multiple cities in India in two shifts. Many coaching institutes have already released unofficial answer key, however, the official GATE answer key date is yet to be announced by the authorities. 

GATE 2026 Expected Answer Key Release Date

Aspirants can expect, the provisional GATE 2026 answer key to be released by the last week of February at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Along with the official answer key, students will be able to access and download master question paper and GATE response sheet at GOAPS.

An objection window will be opened for candidates to challenge GATE answer key 2026 before the final answer key is released. 

GATE 2026 Result Date

According to the official schedule, the GATE exam result date is March 19, 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the MTech entrance exam will be able to check their qualifying status. GATE scorecard 2026 will be made available for download from March 27 onwards. To download, candidates need to provide their enrollment ID and password.
