IIT Madras have started GATE 2027 exam form-fill up process. Candidates who want to apply for GATE 2027 exam can visit the official website- gate2027.iitm.ac.in, and start applying now. The last date to apply for GATE 2027 is September 27, 2026 (without late fee) and October 5, 2026 (with late fee). While filling GATE form, a frequent reason for form rejection is uploading incorrect or improperly formatted documents. To ensure a smooth registration process, candidates must adhere strictly to the GATE 2027 image specifications released by IIT Madras.

How to Upload Documents in DigiLocker correctly
To upload documents in DigiLocker for GATE 2027, candidates have to first log in to DigiLocker and create a new drive folder. Candidates must name the folder as "GATE2027." Change Consent to three years, which means that providing access to the folder. Along with valid ID proof, PAN card must verified again by the Income Tax Department.
