GATE 2026 Exam Live Updates Feb 15: IIT Guwahati will be conducting the last GATE paper 2026 on Feb 15. The shift timings are 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates appearing for ECE, AR, or DA paper can check GATE exam analysis, paper difficulty level, and memory-based questions with answer key solutions here.
GATE 2026 Exam Live Updates Feb 15: TODAY is the last day of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Candidates appearing for the MTech engineering entrance exam for GATE ECE, DA, or AR paper can check exam analysis, important topics and memory-based GATE questions with answer key solutions.
As per GATE exam branch-wise shift timings, Electronics and Communication will be held in the first shift (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and AR (Architecture and Planning) and DA (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence) will be conducted in the afternoon shift (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).
GATE 2026 Feb 15 Exam: Guidelines and Hall Instructions
- Students must reach centre at least 90 minutes before the start time of GATE exam.
- Documents required: Candidates appearing for the exam must carry their hall ticket along with a valid ID proof. Apart from these documents, they can also bring a pen or pencil for rough work and a transparent water bottle. No other items are allowed inside the centre.
- Students will be allowed inside the exam hall after the document verification and authentication process.
- Students will be allotted with a system to attempt questions with an in-built timer located in the dashboard.
- Candidates can log in and start reading the instructions 20 minutes before the start of the examination.
- Once the exam time is complete, students have to submit their responses.
GATE Exam Dress Code 2026
The IIT conducting authorities do not issue any dress code guidelines to students. However, it is advisable to wear something that is comfortable and loose. Avoid wearing any metal embellishment items, such as belts, earnings, jewellery to the centre.
Prohibited Items for the GATE Exam Centre
The authorities have strictly stated that following items are allowed inside the GATE exam hall -
- Any electronic gadgets like mobile phones, digital watches, physical calculators, pagers, bluetooth devices, etc.
- Any personal items, such as handbags, jewellery, etc.
- Text materials, such as notebooks, study materials, etc.
- Packed food items, such as snacks, chocolates, etc.
