GATE 2026 GOAPS portal launched: The GATE 2026 registration process is set to commence soon as the official GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal has now gone live. Read below for more updates on the GATE application form 2026.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2026 registration process is set to commence soon, as the official GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal has now gone live. Candidates aspiring for admission to MTech, PhD, and direct recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) through GATE can access the portal to begin the application process once registrations open.
The GOAPS 2026 portal serves as the central platform for all GATE-related activities, including filling out application forms, uploading documents, checking admit cards, viewing responses, and downloading results or scorecards. Aspirants can visit the official GATE 2026 website and log in using their credentials once the registration link is activated.
The GATE 2026 registration will start TODAY (August 28). The last date to apply without late fees is September 28 and till October 9 (with late fees).

GATE 2026 Application Form Process
The steps to register for GATE application form 2026 are as follows -
- Visit the official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in or https://goaps.iitg.ac.in/login
- Click on the application form portal and register to create an account.
- Login using the credentials (enrollment ID and password)
- Fill out the details asked carefully.
- Upload the documents as per specifications and pay the application fees.
- Confirm the declaration and submit the form.
