GATE 2026 registration link OUT at gate2026.iitg.ac.in: The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati have activated the GOAPS portal, online regisrations have started and link is now activated. GATE 2026 application form OUT: The IIT Guwahati activated the GATE GOAPS registration 2026 link portal at gate2026.iitg.ac.in TODAY (August 28). Online registrations have started. The deadline to submit the GATE application form 2026 without late fees is September 28. In case aspirants have missed the deadline, they still can submit their application form till October 9 (with late fees charged). 

Candidates willing to apply for the examination must go through the GATE 2026 information brochure and check their eligibility and the necessary instructions to follow while filling out the GATE 2026 online registration form.

• IIT Guwahati is the conducting body for GATE 2026
• The GATE 2026 will be conducted for 30 subjects, which are referred to as test papers
• The mode of the examination is online (Computer-Based Test)
• Candidates can appear in one or two test papers of the GATE examination
• The GATE will be conducted for multiple sessions
• The GATE scorecard is valid for three years.

Who can apply for GATE 2026?

Candidates who want to pursue higher education in engineering, technology, architecture, etc., at top institutions such as IITs and NITs. Many PSUs, such as GAIL, NTPC, etc., and State Electricity Boards (SEBs) accept GATE scores to recruit trainee engineers and scientists for Group-C-level posts.

How can I fill out the GATE application form 2026?

To fill the GATE 2026 registration form, candidates need to visit the official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Once you land on the page, search for the application portal (which is the GOAPS portal) and create an account using the required details, such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc. 

Once the registration is complete, log in using the GATE enrollment ID and password and fill out the details: exam, personal, address, degree, etc.. Once done, upload the documents (photo, signature, and valid ID), pay the application fees, confirm the declaration, and submit the application form.

Candidates can check their IIT Guwahati GATE 2026 application status through the GATE candidate login 2026. To check, candidates must provide their enrollment ID and password. 

The IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 exam on February 7, 8,14, and 15. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for the latest updates and notifications on the GATE exam.
