GATE 2026 registration date last date: IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 application form on official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Last date to apply for GATE 2026 with regular fees is October 6 and with extended fees is October 9. Students who are in final year or have completed their bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline can apply within deadline.
GATE 2026 Exam Dates
GATE 2026 exam dates are February 7, 8, 14, and 15. It will be conducted in two shifts- forenoon (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). However, IIT Guwahati confirms to reschedule GATE 2026 exam, due to exam date clash with UPSC ESE Prelims exam. GATE conducting authorities have assured aspirants that GATE core papers, such as EE, IN, CE, GG, PI, EC, and GE will not be scheduled on February 8.
How to fill the GATE Application Form at GOAPS 2026?
Candidates willing to apply must visit GATE's official page. First, they have to register and fill details properly. Once all details are filled in candidates must proceed to upload documents and pay GATE fees. Lastly, candidates must confirm declaration form and submit form.
Documents Required to Upload in GATE Application Form 2026:
Candidate’s photograph and signature, valid ID proof. SC/ST category must upload their category certificate and PwD or Dyslexic candidates have to upload their medical certificate. Documents must be uploaded according to GATE exam day guidelines.
