The GATE 2026 application form without late fee has been extended. The deadline for GATE registrations 2026 is October 7 with no late fee. To apply, students have to visit the GATE’s official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. To register within this deadline, candidates have to pay the GATE fees through netbanking, credit card or debit card. The GATE 2026 exam will take place on February 7, 8,14, and 15.

• Visit the GATE’s official website
• Click on the application form link
• Register and fill out the details correctly
• Upload the documents as per specifications 
• Pay the GATE application fee and confirm the declaration
• Submit the application form and keep a printout.

GATE Application Fee 2026 and Accepted Payment Modes (with no late fee)

The GATE 2026 exam fee details can be checked below -

• For female/SC/ST and PwD candidates - INR 1000
• For all other candidates including foreign nationals - INR 2000

After that an additional fee of INR 500 is charged.

Students who have received discrepancies in their GATE application form must submit their rectified form within the due date as mentioned by the authorities. Double- check the information before submitting.

Candidates can check the GATE application status 2026 at the GOAPS 2026 portal. To check the status, students have to provide their enrollment ID and password. 

NOTE: After October 7, students will be charged an additional fee while submitting their application form. GATE 2026 exam will take place on February 7, 8,14, and 15, 2026 in two shifts.
