GATE Application Form 2027 Update: As of now, there is no new announcement regarding the start date of GATE application 2027. The revised schedule for GATE registration is expected to be released anytime soon. Meanwhile, here’s what applicants must do before GOAPS portal is open.

IIT Madras has yet again revised the GATE 2027 application start date. There is, as such, no update regarding the GOAPS portal launch for registration. The GATE last date to apply 2027 remains the same. In case there is further delay in the application process, then candidates can expect a change in GATE 2027 registration last date as well. 

GATE Application 2027 Update: What to Keep Ready for Registration

Since, the date for GATE application 2027 is not announced yet, candidates can utlise this time for arranging all their documents. As DigiLocker registration has replaced the registration stage, candidates are advised to verify if their details are updated properly in their DigiLocker account. 

The list of the documents needed for GATE 2027 exam form-fill up are:

• Scanned photo and signature

• Valid ID proof 

• PwD or category certificate (if applicable)

All the above documents must be scanned properly as per the specifications mentioned by IIT Madras for GATE 2027. 

Instructions to Note for GATE Exam Form Fill-Up 2027

• GATE DigiLocker registration is mandatory for Indian nationals

• Photo used in DigiLocker will not be accepted for photo upload

• Candidates will have to upload their scanned photo and undergo facial verification during registration. 

• Candidates can now select upto six test cities while filling GATE application form 2027
