Expected GATE 2027 Form-Fill Up Date
As of now, the GATE 2027 official website displays “To be Announced” in the dates section. Based on past trends, IITM will first announce the application form release date. GATE exam form filling is most likely to start before September 5, 2026. Candidates can apply through GOAPS portal only. The registration last date remains unchanged on the website.

Will GATE 2027 Exam Dates be Postponed
There is, as such, no update regarding the GATE exam date postponement. Looking at the past trends, the GATE conducting authorities usually do not revise the GATE 2027 exam dates. IIT Madras will conduct GATE 2027 for six days: Feb 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027, in two shifts.
What candidates should do now
As the GATE application dates are yet to be announced, candidates must do the following:
