iHub Anubhuti-IIITD Signs MoU with Medanta Institute to Drive Innovation in Research and Learning

iHub Anubhuti-IIITD Foundation, a leader in Cognitive Computing and Social Sensing, has partnered with the Medanta Institute of Education and Research (MIER) at Medanta (Global Health Limited) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to drive innovation in medical and healthcare research. The collaboration aims to:
- Facilitate joint research projects involving faculty, scientists, and clinicians.
- Share expertise to design and implement programmes that advance research and education.
- Encourage academic exchange through guest lectures and programmes featuring experts from both institutions.
- Enable students and researchers to participate in academic events, including workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Provide shared access to library and research resources for all members.
- Allow short research stays at the partner institution for students, clinicians, and staff with faculty approval.
The MoU was signed by Vinay Mehta, Chief Executive Officer, iHub Anubhuti, and Dr. Shoibal Mukherjee, Director, Medical Research, Medanta, in the presence of other dignitaries from TiH, MIER, and IIIT-Delhi. The MoU formalizes the organisations’ shared vision of collaborative growth through joint research initiatives, knowledge sharing, and skill development to unlock opportunities at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
Talking about the collaboration, Prof. Ranjan Bose, Chairman, iHub Anubhuti and Director IIIT-Delhi, said, “Combining iHub's expertise in cognitive computing with Medanta's leadership in medical research, the collaboration will focus on joint research, knowledge exchange, and skill development. This partnership lays the foundation for impactful advancements in healthcare, promising a future of transformative on-ground solutions and cutting-edge translational research.”
Dr. Shoibal Mukherjee, Director, Medical Research, Medanta said, “In the age of advanced digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and robotics, medical science can only progress if there is close collaboration between medical and computational scientists. This partnership will seek implementable solutions to medical problems in both hospital and community settings.”
Vinay Mehta, CEO of iHub Anubhuti said that this MoU brings two leading and committed organisations to work together for the betterment of the country’s healthcare ecosystem. “Our efforts will not only lead to the development of new indigenous technologies, but also measurably improve patient care, and give a fillip to the healthcare industry in general,” he said.
